I didn't see who it hit, I was too busy dodging it to see where it hit, but I didn't think it hit anyone.

I was at the Meadowlands in 1986 to see Iron Maiden, and similar shit went on. I remember some stoned and drunk metalhead hesher decided to climb one of the light poles and while he was up there someone lit a huge fire under him. The fire truck came and people threw bottles at it. Before long, the whole parking lot was a full fledged riot. Anthrax's Scott Ian, who was there to see the show, had his car flipped over.

    Good times!

When we were @ the game Jeto told me about this. She said it actually shot up pretty high...

Wow, pretty scary actually but not surprised. People are totally careless and stupid with the way they tailgate.

Add that to the runaway firework and it gives a new meaning to the star spangled banner....

...and the rockets red....HOLY FUK LOOKOUT!

    Interesting.

That's what you get for going to see idiotic hair bands when you could be taking in Token Entry at CBGB....

Some genius friends of mine accidentily lit a dumpster on fire last season. I was not at that game and after seeing the pics, was glad I wasn't.

I confirm this. It was during introductions. Security moved the kids toward the endzone after the fireworks shot toward them.

Another shot about 1o rows into the lower seats. Hope all were well.

We were a few rows away. It was odd, we all saw this really thick oily smoke, and you could tell something was out of control. The response was fairly quick, but you should have seen the flames right before they started spraying it. I began walking AWAY from it, thinking it was gonna combust. We all heard the tires pop, and I thought, "This thing's gonna blow up. Holy Cr*p."

Now here's the dumbest part. Those people hung around. And, other people went TOWARDS IT to take pictures with their phones when it was burning the hottest, including my friend's 14 year old son. Five minutes later when our tailgate started to go into the game, someone ELSE'S BBQ went on fire a few rows in the other direction. More flames. The firemen were still there, but those folks had their own fire extinguishers and put it out themselves. WTF.

Ye right. Nothing to do with squeezing in another 5 or 6 tubes of Heiniken and some more ribs.

Last time I checked, Iron Maiden wasn't considered a hair band.

I saw some melted plastic on one of the cars near it. Still looked drivable.

Someone pointed to 2 guys and said it was their car in flames as I was walking by.

Back in the late 80s early 90s a similiar thing happened in the parking lot.Only that time an entire row of cars were destroyed.Anyone remember that?I believe the Jets were playing Cleveland that day.
