It amazes me how utterly stupid Jets fans can be. People would rather see the garbage-time wonder Clowney over having a legit WR as our number 4 receiver. He would be our #3 for 4 weeks while we waited for a #1 to join the action. So we'd have 2 legit #1s. A strong #2 (arguably a 1.5.) And Coles would be at least a legit #2. That kind of talent is near impossible to come by in the NFL. But people would rather see Clowney get his fourth shot to make an impact with a team?
I know! He can smoke those 4th string corners! He abused those guys so badly that now they're bagging groceries! Clowney changes lives people! Well, at least when he's not busy letting his Twitter get hacked to tell people to kill themselves. But I guess that changes lives too!
Well, when Clowney is out of the league in 2 years he definitely has a future in foundation/non-profit work. I have to give credit where its due. Problem is, he shows up at the local children's hospital to sign autographs only to hear "where's Sanchez," "can you get me tickets" and "who are you?"
Not sure if the thread has gotten too off topic for me to reply on this still, but I fully support this decision to bring Coles back... based solely on the fact that I could wear my Coles jersey in public again. Let's get it done, Tanny!
It was Clowney before Holmes made it sexy. I have nothing at all against Clowney personally. I followed his Haiti tour on Twitter (Ghost was there too.) I wish the guy the best, but he's not a NFL caliber WR. When he's in I root for him like I do any other Jet, but he's just not talented enough to be a starter. You are correct.
Yeah. Funny thing, I know there was no mention of it on the board, but Holmes also claimed that his Twitter was hacked.
the only thing clowey would have going for him as the 4th wr is that he would be playing close to the level of talent that he dominates in the preseason.
