It wasn't floated by Bell's team it was confirmed by Pittsburgh after floating BS for public consumption. The Steelers are 1 of 2 NFL teams that don't guarantee other than signing bonus. You have been constantly floating a fake offer that was clarified. The Steelers leaked the truth because they have policy in place and needed to protect their bargaining position with everyone else. Ian Rapaport From what I understand, the #Steelers’ final offer to RB Le’Veon Bell was 5 years, $70M with more than $30M over 2 years. Last year, the offer was 5 years, $60M. ... Instead, he’ll earn $14.5M on another franchise tag. 3:29 PM - Jul 16, 2018 Mentioned yesterday the #Steelers final offer to RB Le’Veon Bell was 5 years, $70M. More context today: The fully guaranteed part was his signing bonus of just over $10M. He would’ve made $33M over the 1st two years — in a rolling guaranteed structure. $45M over the 1st 3 years. 1:55 PM - 17 Jul 2018 Rolling guarantee structure not a guarantee.
gurley was fully guaranteed $21.95 mill at signing. he has another $5 mill in practical guarantees because there is little chance that the rams will cut him before the 3rd day of the 2019 league year ... the rest of the $45 mill guarantee are rolling, injury guarantees https://overthecap.com/player/todd-gurley/3858/
No kidding, I'm waiting for the Raiders introductory pr At least he didn't just walk out on stage with AB at the Raiders press conference
Somebody said they all have to get physicals first and I guess that couldn't start before 4PM either.
I got 100-1 with my UK bookie on the back of the news on day 1, before the spew monster turned tail. edit, just checked and we are now 80-1
i wouldn't be surpised if they move on from mckinnon. they way overpaid him and i really like that brieda kid. He's a tough runner just gets banged up a lot. I could see them using brieda and coleman as a lightning and thunder combo. I'd also assume they move on form alfred morris as well who is a scrub. breida has some skewed stats due to being knocked out of games but he did have 3 100 yard games while splitting carries and having to face stacked boxes. he never had more then 17 carries a game and of his 100 yard games his carries were 17, 11, and 14 so not due to volume either. he also had a 10 for 90 game. averaged 5.3 YPC and added in 27 catches. overall he had 180 touches for 1075 yards and 5 TDs and only 1 fumble. I could see him making a good pair with coleman who they got on a nice budget deal. breida only cost 645k this year and coleman is costing them 5 mil. mckinnon alone cost more then that 5.75 by himself and while cutting him would actually cost them 250k due to dead money in 2019, they have more then enough room to eat it now and it'll save them 18 mil over the next 2 years.
