    He has to be able to block, run routes, and read coverage too. This 3 things are probably more important for the success of an offense than height and speed.

    Nothing is more important than height.

    This is why we need to pay 20 million a year to Vincent Jackson.

    Do we know why he was out of football in 2011? Was he injured or was he just not good enough for anyone to want to sign him!

    Agreed. Anything is positive after the way we finished the season, we're obviously going into 2012 with Mark, let's give him as many weapons as we can. The guy has speed, which is good. I gamble on horses in Saratoga, when it's a Maiden race (horses that havn't won or raced before) I look at their workout times, the fastest horses usually win. This ain't horse racing, but a quick receiver never hurt a team after he catches a ball.

    If he ends up a pro bowler this thread will be fun to read in a few years.

    Either way it can't hurt to give him an opportunity. If he doesn't look good after training camp we can always cut him.
