Jets sign safety Dajuan Morgan

The exclamation point offends me, I have removed it.

 

Morgan's an in-the-box safety. Like other's have said already, I'd rather have Ihedigbo.

 

I don't think it's a matter of them choosing Morgan over Ihedigbo. It's a special teams signing, that adds some depth at safety.

If Digs wants to return, he's still got our contract offer.

 

pool was gone anyway we were not going to resign him with the way he played last year. i dont know much about this safety we just sign but hes probably just a training camp guy. we have eric smith we just sign 3 years 7.5 million, rex said hes the starter. hes not really a good cover guy but he can hit really hard which rex likes

 

I'm not even sure Morgan will make the final roster. He may just be a camp body.

We desperately need another playmaker in the seconday. I have no problems with a safety getting burned once in a while, given the calibre of our corners.

 

Maybe it means no Ihedigbo...

I think Lowery will surprise you... hopefully not too much since he's in the last year of his deal.

I'd rather have Abram Elam. He makes big time plays, or at least he did... even under Mangini's regime.

 

What happened to dig? Did he sign somewhere else? Been hard keeping up with so much of the NFL in flux.

 

Digs is waiting for a larger offer that hasn't arrived......he'll accept Tannenbaum's offer, once it's all said and done.
