What's not cohesive about re-signing your own guys and trading for others that can help your team? If anything, the Harvin and Kerley moves should give us more clarity. Methinks you're being a bit dramatic, or you just don't care to put together a logical argument. You're great at being wrong. I'm not one of those.
The Good: Kerley is a decent return man very underrated as a receiver, Chicago non TD catch was amazing. The Bad: With the addition of Harvin and Decker, Kerley is not good enough to discourage a major draft pick going to a WR still such as Amari Cooper. For depth, I love the move, for a major piece? Should not be handled that way
With Harvin and a healthy Decker and an emerging Amaro, Kerley will definitely find some room to get open and should flourish.
Apparently. At least Idzik and I can explain ourselves. It's not that hard though, which makes your lack of substance alarming.
I love the move but it doesn't seem very Idzik. Id have thought he'd wait until after the season then try to lowball him and then match it if he got a better offer. Seems like he's panicking and straying from his master plan.
Solid signing, cheap enough and a low guaranteed number. Can someone with more football knowledge explain the difference in play style between Kerley and Harvin? That's my only (slight) concern.
Don't over-exaggerate. The stats did say he was better with Kerley playing last season as oppose to when he was out, which makes sense. No one said he'd be a 90% completion guy with a 124 QB with Kerley playing every game.
People who said whatever they said about Geno. I honestly don't even remember that being a point of discussion ever here.
good job Jets. You just couldn't lose a player like Kerley. And I bet he gets a lot more open looks with Harvin and Decker on the outside.
They are very difrent receivers, Harvin has talent to be a top 5 wideout in this league if dedicates. See Kerley like (Wes welker mold) and Harvin ( can be sort of an antonio brown) again im not saying these players are at the same skill level.
