The Browns probably wanted more than Tanny wanted to give up. They could come back and lower their price now that Tanny has moved on.

rumor was a 2nd rounder...which is absolutely ridiculous. Glad we didn't give that up.

It'd be nice to get Marques Douglas back also. You never know when another injury is going to pop up and Douglas has to be the best 3-4 end sitting on his couch right now. There are a bunch of 3-4 teams out there and he'll get picked up by somebody when an end goes down.

Of course he's an S&Fclient so that might impact the Jets willingness to bring him in.

Especially now that we wouldn't be counting on him to start.

If we give up a low pick, Mangini for the 12th man award...

I'm sure this guy was out of football until today. Probably out of shape too. Where did he do summer camp?

His contract numbers are a bit of a bump over Jenkins' as well, but I believe the biggest gap is this season, which makes it irrelevant. I'd guess that we're planning to use Green this season and the 2nd season is insurance while we develop and evaluate Tevaseu on the PS. If necessary, Green stays next year while we develop a drafted replacement.

Aye I agree. I didn't like how they broke up the Dline over the offseason.

I agreed with the Faneca decision, and knew it would have some growing pain during the first few weeks, but the DLine shit went a bit too far. When a team goes so far, and looks to return..getting rid of alot of the pieces that brought you there isn't always a wise move.. Big gamble.

    Redskins.

Camp Anawanna. Or Washington. One or the other.

Oh, and he's been out of football for a week. So, yeah, he's probably severely out of shape

Why did the Dolphins cut Douglas?

Dolphins looking to get young, young, young. I don't really know much about why they did, but who knows. Coulda picked his brain for a few months, and then dumped his ass.

I'm not sure, since they have zero depth at DE now with Odrick hurt.

You could have read the 3 sentence blurb or just be a fan of the team to get the answer to that question.

Yeah I figured when Merling was out for the year he would be a lock to make the roster. There's no way his play could have fallen off that badly to the point that he wasn't worth the 1 million or w/e he was gonna get paid.

I'm not sure you should be calling anyone brainless in this thread.

It was Odrick and Kendall Langford. Douglas was the old guy in the equation and the Dolphins chose to cut him.
