If he comes into camp ready and learns the offense and doesn't make too many mistakes in practice or exhibition games then he has a chance to play sooner than later. Geno has been basically handed the job almost as easily as Mark was.

Watched him overthrow a ton of deep balls. The entire offense is catch and throw. Decent pocket awareness. Stays on his first read for way too long. Has a tendency to "step in the bucket" on short throws (steps laterally while throwing downfield). Though, he's somehow very accurate on short throws even with poor footwork which is a testament to his arm talent. Good touch. Very powerful arm. He has potential but he's a massive project.

I'd rather we didn't pick any QB in this draft after Mariota/Winston, but I did say if we HAD to pick one, Petty was the one. I am thrilled with the pick.

I would love for the Jets to take Antwan Goodley in the 5th round,

I don't either. I have studied the teachings of the Catholic Church very carefully, for many years, and I happen to agree with all of it. It all makes perfect sense to me. I am not "brainwashed", or "gullible", or anything like that, I have just come to the realization that there's a good reason that the Church has survived 2000+ years of persecution and attempts to destroy it by countless world powers. It endures and thrives along with scientific progress (which only supports Church teachings and provides evidence for it, btw), that's why so many of the world's top scientists explain that the more they learn about science, the more their religious faith is strengthened. It's a myth that science and religion are opposed, in fact they go hand in hand. .... these are all facts btw, not my opinons, and they are understood by about 2.5 billion people worldwide. There's a good reason why the Pope is so popular, even today, and why the Catholic Church is the largest organization of people worldwide, religious or otherwise. Learn the Truth before you spew your ignorant lies.

I like him, Diggs is my #1 guy left but I think we are done at WR.

According to Ian Rapoport the Browns were also trying to trade into the Jags' spot above us (presumably for Petty as well) so we 'needed' to move up.

Priest and alter boy would be more authentic.

At least we took our "gimmick QB" in the 4th round, and not the 1st with Mariota.

I agree. I don't think they'll take him, but if Macc is going by Best Player Available he would have to be in consideration when the Jets pick next in about 20-30 spots from now. Most of these steal guys are gonna be drafted by then.

You call yourself a "Catholic" and say you "Love Jesus", then you turn around and attack Catholics (and all Christians for that matter) on this board with childish insults. You are a piece of work.
