Jets Schedule - Merged

The last game against the Chiefs isn't necessarily a night or prime time game. That's part of the flex schedule and NBC will televise the game of their choice. The Jets could easily end up in the 2 p.m. time slot.

 

i like the position of the bye week...thoughts?

 

Am I the only one that doesn't give a damn about primetime games?

 

I much prefer Sunday afternoon games. Got nothing much else to do at that time slot and I always have stuff to do in the evening.

 

Personally I think Prime Time home games blow. A monday night game will usually cost me a day and a half at work. Half a day monday to prep and get there by 6, tuesday off to recover.

 

wow, the first 2 weeks will actually tell us a lot about what we've got in Mangini and the team.

normally, September doesn't hold too much weight (see Miami), but it should show us what we're made of.

It reminds me of last year of how its almost in the middle of the year. Its perfect for the Jets. Not too early or late, and 2 weeks to prepare for Pitt helps becuase that is never an easy game.

Would you be kind enough to point out the "gimmes" to me. The Jets are capable of losing to any team on their schedule. The good thing for Jets fans, is they are at the level now where you can also say they can beat any team on their schedule.

 

Thank God the NFL has gotten away from the "TBA" situation we had last year. Every game now has a specific date and time.

I and others have been extremely vocal about this and just maybe enough people convinced the NFL to create a concrete schedule. This is much better for the fans and certainly much better for season ticketholders, IMO.

 

Agreed! There's just something about watching a football game in the afternoon- evening games don't come close.

 

Since I live outside the broadcast area, the only games I used to be able to see were the primetime ones. So I can understand why some like them.


Of course that changed when I got DirectTv. :grin:

11 - Steelers
12 - @Cowboys(Obviously not this one)
13 - @ Dolphins
14 - Browns
15 - @ Patriots
16 - @ Titans
17 - Chiefs(already sunday night)



we have a shot to get swiched to sunday night i think week 15 against the patriots because it could be an important game for the division lead

 

im with ya there dude....but now that thats done, i gotta see a superbowl
