Doesn't anybody see that week 17 is "subject to change?"

So I doubt we get an actual primetime game there...

Yea I know, its just going to be tough. I'm sure I'll be doing alot of drinking Saturday night, but I guess I could fly back and go straight to the game.

    LOVIN' the new schedule

    http://www.newyorkjets.com/game/schedule/

there are some great games lined up.

Last season was the best viewing experience I've had in a season watching the Jets of my twenty four years on this earth...this next one is going to be epic.

    - Here's to a good draft -[IMG]

For the record, i'm a YOUNGER Jets fan than him...But my optimism was LOST after the 05' season...I had predicted AFC Championship game and they just flopped in injuries and on the field...

look who their leader was... getting injured was an invitation to camp pamper, with Herm BBQing out back. Oh no wait, he never BBQ'd for the Jets. I'm not saying anyone got injured on purpose in '05, but I believe that attitude of failure is infection, just like success is.

go here and listen to our leader at helm preach the good word about each year being unique. Believe.

(go to Chad conferences, then the post wild-card week press conference)

I am 12 years older then him and I can honestly say I had the most fun watching a team since 1994 but that was a different sport.

That little stretch of 2 home games, then a bye, then another home game is a nice bonus. But then only 4 days until the Thanksgiving game. Still, I like that little stretch. And the end of the season really isn't so bad - hosting Cleveland and KC (both very winnable), at Tennessee (something tells me they'll fall apart by the end of the season), and at New England is always a challenge but still 3 out of 4 ain't bad.

I think the 1st two games will tell us alot:

0-2 will tell us we arent ready, or we just are having a slow start...will have to fight for a playoff spot

1-1 will tell us that we have a playoff caliber team most likely and that we can expect a likely run into the PO

2-0 says we are going to do some dirt this year...other teams beware

I opt for 2-0 but i have a feeling we wil be 1-1

No kiddin', we'd all opt for the 2-0

I'd say 1-1 as well, but I don't think they win both

I had a great time watching this team...

But people saying 12-4? Epic season? Division winner? etc...People just take it a step too far...I still see this team as ONE year away from being a TRUE contender and fierce team in the AFC...Right now, I have them as another team who will fight very hard for the wild card like last season, nothing wrong with that.
