I remember when Buddy Ryan was introduced to the Philly media upon being named Eagles coach and when he first walked up to the podium, he didn't even greet anybody, he just (with a very smug, self-satisfied tone of voice) opened with: "Well, you've got a winner in town." Rex might be cut from the same ("D") cloth as Buddy but Rex's "ballsy" (yet with-a-wink) vibe to me reads totally different than his crabby, full-of-himself grouch of an ol' man.
The Fish are a concern but we have had lots of success against them for many years. Much like the Pats have had against us. The Pats are the bully toward the Jets in the AFC East and we want to have that particular bully give us back our lunch money. With interest!!!

Buddy was a cutthroat! He stabbed Ditka in the back, made a fool of himself in Houston.... Rex was always loyal to his organization and HC in Baltimore.
Wow those idiots are talking alot of shit for a team that has no idea if their goldenshower of a QB is 100% following major reconstructive knee surgery. Doing it in rehab is one thing but doing it when you've got a 300 lb monster blindsiding you is another. As for the Flukefins.... it was a flash in the pan and alot of things needed to go right for them to win the division much like the 02 Jets. As for Pennington....new team same result in a big spot, oh BTW was it Rex Ryan's defense that made him look like garbage? As for Henne, he's never taken a meaningful snap in the league so that is a major question mark as well.
