Me too and we could win with improved play from him. That's my point.

I wanted Geno to start at the beginning of the year to truly see what he can do, but his inability to be accountable for his actions really irks me. Geno, no doubt one of the more physically gifted QBs we've had in a while - it's a shame he didn't hold himself accountable in that IK situation. Now he needs to earn the respect of the locker room and the coaches all over again.

Glad he's healthy again - if Fitz fucks up - and that could still happen; let's see what Geno has to offer, but a lot of negatives need to happen - that would mean us losing games.

and that's your prerogative but most people have seen enough to know a lemon when you see it. He has all the tools in the world but none of mental positives a nfl qb needs

but we are winning with fitz right now. If something happens maybe but sorry I don't see the call to put him in.
Nevermind the fact I have server reservations if geno could produce improved play

And if the play is not improved, we move away from winning to appease Geno fans?

    Makes sense.

I really think that is what he is arguing. Hey, Geno maybe better we should try him. He also maybe worse ever thought of that and we are winning and if you win by one point or 20 still counts the same.

Based on Geno's past history we lose at least one of those games. Playing QB is more than having a strong arm.

And how do you figure we lose? How do you just make that statement so matter of factly? Use objective data not subjective.

1985 is a Geno fan and not really a Jet fan.

    You have to excuse him.

There is not one single piece of objective data proving that anyone would have won or lost any game.

But anyone arguing to start Geno for any reason whatsoever has no criteria other than hope.

Those arguing NOW in favor of Fitz is he hasn't fucked up yet.

That is concrete objective data right there.

You know that's subjective data. You're no dummy. You played to my point exactly. There is no way anyone can sit here and say we win or lose those games with Geno.

I keep hearing people say Geno's history, ummm are we ignoring Fitzs here? He doesn't exactly have a great history. It's not like I want the guy to fail but I'm also not gonna a sit here and let the mob mentality tell me how to feel either. I'm sorry there is a lot about him I simply don't like in his play.

Hell Petty could do the same thing he's doing now and he's has plenty of upside and you know how I felt about him starting this season.

2 years is not enough of course there are special cases like Ryan Lindley but Geno has shown enough to warrant developing.

So far we don't know if the play has improved or not considering he hasn't played yet.

    I played NO point.

I didn't say Geno would have won or lost both those games.

There is NO criteria other than hope to believe it one way or another.

    We're 2-0.

And did no lose games because of Fitz.

That is the ONLY objective criteria and concrete evidence available.

So we should put him in there.

    Ok Geno fan, makes sense.

I'm a Jet fan and will play the QB who is helping to win games and not lose games.

No you exactly played to my point. We simply don't know. So nobody on here can say that definitively. In fact my post you replied to wasn't addressed to you at all. So I never said that you said that.

You have your opinion and I have mine, and we disagree.

You're butting in the discussion and you don't know the context of what was being talked about.
