They do try to add items in the off season. Last year we went to the draft party at MetLife and they had a table set up with items to buy with our points. Picked up some beer glasses, shot glasses and bobble heads. I have a lot of points on both seats and nothing has peaked my interest yet. Hoping they add some more stuff also.
It would be cool if they threw some jerseys up...don't have to be game used...just the ability to pick up a new jersey with some points. Or maybe like a voucher to the jets shop online towards some gear. That would be cool.
It's still a new program, I'm willing to be patient with it, after all I've only had to do what I've always done and have a ton of stuff to show for it Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
A conference with plenty of season ticket holders sounds like everyone talking over one another. I'll join of course, should be neat.
The way it works is everyone can listen but if you want to ask a question you have to dial certain numbers, speak to a rep with your question and wait to see if you will get through before the conference call ends. You do not get to openly chat with everyone like a normal call and no one can hear you unless you go through the procedure to ask a question.
Thanks for the heads up. I'm hoping to ask them about special teams, I think it killed us this year. Cromartie wasn't a bad fill in, but I don't see him coming back.
Anyone thinking of attending Jets House? I saw Fitzpatrick attending Friday, so that just became my target date to go. Friday night of course!
I was thinking about attending Saturday, but I won 2 tickets to the Steiner Sports 30 Year Reunion of the 1986 World Champion Mew York Mets! So I won't be doing Jets House.
So that conference call was awesome, the little bit I got to listen to before heading back into the office. Mike with the insight from the behind-the-scenes mindset and talking with such a down to earth demeanor. Can't imagine Idzik doing something like this. - Said he hopes to retain Mo and the leg break isn't something that would really factor into a long-term deal because it's just that - a leg break and not the knee/ACL. - Said he feels for a guy like Arian Foster who may get cut due to injury, as he was with him for years over in Houston. But understands the idea as a GM of having to part ways and find a replacement. - Piggy backed on Bowles talking about team needs for next season - faster defensive players/LBs, and addressing the O-Line, etc. Said just like they create a Draft Board of players eligible and by rank, they do the same thing with a Free Agency Board. Thought that part was really cool.
That's awesome. I'm a Mets fan myself. So close last year, a tad optimistic this year despite questionable offseason moves.
