    LMAO. word to whooooooo.

i told my girlfriend. she looked at me like if I was crazy.

    Lito.
    Scott.
    Leonhard.
    Ivy.
    Moore.

That gives OD DEPTH to our once shallow and awfully talented CB spot, allows consistency for the offensive line, our middle linebackers are BEAST, and we finally have an above average safety.

Leonhard isn't great but he can hit and has solid coverage skills.

Bart Scott is Bart Scott, one of the most consistent ILB of the NFL, (I wish he was younger though).

Always liked Corey Ivy. Ivy will be DEFINITELY rotating with Lowery in the Nickel back. Mostly EVERY Ravens game you watch there are at least TWO defensive plays in which Rex blitzed Ivy and the outcome was a sack, TFL, or fumble.

Lito was replaced by Asante Samuel. With Revis, Lito, Lowery, Ivy and Coleman that competition will be fierce for the #2 position opposite Revis. That my friends is superb coaching. Lowery didnt have to prove himself to earn his role, he was drafted into it. Lowery will need to fend off both Sheppard and Ivy if he plans on keeping his starting role.

Fuck Ty Law, did we cut him yet?

rex's defense needs corners who can play man coverage. as long as lito stays healthy he will be the #2 cb on the team. there will not be any competition.

At what we are paying him I would think it's Sheppard's job the day he arrives. Otherwise why even bother?

The way this went down makes me think that Tanny and Moore already had this agreement in place but had to cut Moore in order to avoid the 30% rule. Both sides handled it amicably and it took forever for the actual "cut" to happen. And from what I could tell there were no signs of Moore actually linked to any other team.

Regardless this was well played by the Rex and Tanny (Rexanny or T-Rex?).

I don't think so...this went down because the Jets were sure they had Kemoeatu locked up. He ended up signing for less back at Pitt and the Jets were screwed. He now gets 10 million guaranteed instead of the 5 million roster bonus they cut him over.

Yes but the 10M bonus is pro rated by the years of the contract wheeas the bonus is a fast 5M hit against the 09 cap so in essence they saved 2.5M this year in the cap when U figure bonus vs pro rate

I was hoping that they would be able to resign him. I feel much better now.

i was shocked when they let him go, it made no sense to let him go, we got him back and thats what counts. we have one of the best offensive lines in football. and by tomorrow hopefully one of the best secondary's in football.
