I could NOT disagree more! McNown again? Congrats! With Todd Toilet as the coach, McNown if healthy will take EVERY snap in 2018 and probably lead the jets to 5-11 again or maybe 6-10. The jets will sign Teddy, draft Josh Allen, AND keep Hackenberg (because idiot MM will not admit his mistake). Teddy, Allen and Hack will ALL watch Bowles and McNown take us to another sub-par season as the jets will again scratch their proverbial butt in the basement of the AFC East. Is this team EVER going to DEVELOP a QB? Watch Chris Johnson chirp next offseason how 6-10 is SO much better than 5-11. Dumb dips!
I hope this makes Teddy tell the Jets to shove it up their asses and he signs elsewhere. I would have loved to have seen him here instead of McCown, but I know good and well that the 3 QBs on the roster would be McCown, Teddy, and Hack, and eff that! If that is indeed his plan and he doesn't get fired, I'm definitely done with this stupid franchise!
By cutting Hack, it shows Maccagnan can admit he fucked up/own up to his draft blunder. By holding him, and not playing him, he's forcing a situation that will continue to make him look like an ass. Petty & Hack need to be off this roster well before the draft.
Who cares if it is 1/9th or 1/3rd? 10 mil to a 39 year old washed up QB is a waste. Who were we going against? Who was looking to sign McCown for 10 mil? Same thing happened with Fitz. Does McCagnan ever learn? You don't shell this much money to a washed up 39 year old QB.

Well guys here is our GM who stated he was going to be very active in free agency this year. We managed to resign our stap gap 39 year old qb from last year that no one else had any interest in at this point. On top of that has been given the reigns to the season as the appointed starter. This very well may be the darkest day in recent jets history par the 70's-80's nightmare we seem to be reliving.
Well, I was counting out Petty, he would have been the 5th. But if they draft one within the first 2 rounds Hack has to be gone. Unless they sign on Bridgewater with non-guarantee option.
It won't be good news if they get him and he turns out to be a stud in the NFL. He does have the highest upside of any of the QBs.
