So if they have also signed Sapp, as reported, it seems someone will have to be cut from the PS..

Jets confirm my reports that TE Shawn Nelson has been signed to active roster and G Matt Kroul & OL Dennis Landolt signed to practice squad

    Daily News:
The Daily News has learned that the Jets are expected to sign former Bills tight end Shawn Nelson to the 53-man roster on Monday.

The 6-5, 273-pound Nelson worked out for Gang Green last Tuesday. The Bills fourth-round pick in the 2009 draft had 20 receptions for 181 yards and a touchdown in 17 games with Buffalo.

Nelson was suspended for the first four games of 2010 for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

Did we really need to sign a tightend? I'm no fan of Mulligan, but we don't really need depth here. Is it just a coincidence he's a former Bill? He was released on Sept 3rd, are they really expecting him to know much about their scheming?

^ The Jets badly need a TE that can actually do more than play special teams behind Keller.

    He might be the answer.

    Desperately.

We needed depth at tight end more than any other position.

    No.

    Yes.

Matt Slauson calls Wayne Hunter an "upgrade" at right tackle. Knows he won't get Xmas card from Damien Woody: "I didn't get one anyway" #nyj

    That's p-puh-p-p-purely a p-puh-p-political statement.

When he was healthy, Woody was the best right tackle in the league.

Matt Slauson has turned into a media poster boy. Tons of articles bring him up.

#Jets Matt Slauson on team's position in AFCE: "The Pats lost, the Bills are about to lose and then we've got the Pats." Confident, huh?

    Loving Slauson's confidence.

The talking is returning. They back it up 90% of the time.

"We're at the stage of the season where that's no longer an excuse." Ryan on turnover at wide receiver this season. #NFL #Jets

Something i and many have worried about.

Coach Ryan says the Jets did more hitting than usual today. “That was a man’s day today… Getting back to hitting and tackling.”

    Good.

I agree. I think the Jets play well this week. I also wouldn't mind a little more shit talking. We really do seem to play better when there is some form of controversy.

That Jills mafia thing was hilarious. Needless to say they got slaughtered by the Jets fans, the downside to that is we added to their notoriety (won't last long though)

It's a good thing that the women of Buffalo are so unattractive. Otherwise, I could get in a lot of trouble in this godforsaken city.
