    yeah that's what I'm thinking as well.

    There's going to be a year in there that is going to be massive. Probably worth 7mil on the cap. Maybe even 9.

    Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that Holmes contract has a cap number of only $2.45 million in 2011.

    Wow. What a deal for the Jets, as far as 2011 is concerned. If this is true, it looks like we're making a run for the Super Bowl this year. Aso anyone?

    Yup. That clip makes me think 4 things:

    1) Man I'm glad that we kept Holmes.

    2) Maybe Sanchez isn't the worst quarterback in football history after all--I should stop reading Mike Florio.

    3) I'm gonna miss Braylon Edwards. The '10 Jets are probably my favorite team ever, it sucks that they couldn't get a ring for Edwards, Smith, and all the rest of the guys who will move on.

    4) Matt Schaub is a bitch.

    Right now "the man" in DC is Randy Moss. He'd be getting the same 10/17 situation as with the Jets.

    If he feels slighted I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up on the Patriots

    At the end of this 5 year deal what we think of Mark Sanchez whether good or bad will depend greatly on Santonio Holmes

    Anf if last season was preview than Santonio will do for mark what Plax did for Eli

    My favorite part is that Santonio isnt making money right away so he still has to play towards earning those last couple years on his contract.
