I see what you mean but other teams have worn throwbacks on the road too. We'll find out.....

Becasue the Giants are playing in Dallas on the first Sunday night of the season, that likely means that the Jets will start the season off at home. Finally!!!

Amazing News! I'll actually be looking forward to Thanksgiving this year!

Gotta say though, on the debate between the Jets 1980's uni's or the Titans uni's I would rather see the 1980's set.

It would be like I'm watching some bizzaro Jets team with Blue and Yellow colors. The Jets should be wearing green in such a huge game, end of discussion

Yeah, that's true. Our O-line is having a lot to do with Chad maintaining better composure, I think. With a little nmore help on the right side of the O-line we should be okay against Dallas. Besides, with Jerry Jones having anew coach and constantly meddling with the team, he'll probably find a way to screw with the team just enough to throw it in disarray.

I'd love to see the Jets kick Dallas' ass in their own house on Thanksgiving. Priceless.

If we trot out the old Titans colors, the national audience will have no clue who in the hell we are! You know, since we get soooo much exposure.

i dont think we will play KC week one, we played them a few years back, and usually its not that big of a marketing game, because they know people are going to go/watch any way because its Opening weekend, so theyll most likely make us play like either maybe the Bills/Eagles/Browns

This is going to be really cool...my only complaint is that the dallas game is the later game...which is always during dinner time.

This will be only the third time the Jets play in Dallas - 1-1 with a loss in 1971 and a win in 1999. They've never played Dallas on Thanksgiving....should be an interesting match-up

I gotta agree with you. I'm not a big fan of Holiday games. Too many distractions.

I understand what you are saying, but the league tends to schedule good teams vs good teams and bad teams vs bad teams in Week 1*. This idea came about from former commissioner Bert Bell. The idea is to get some good teams to start off 0-1 and have some bad teams start 1-0.

I could see the Jets playing the Eagles in Week 1.

*Look at the announced games so far-
    Saints at Colts
    Bears at Chargers
    Giants at Cowboys
    Ravens at Bengals
    Cardinals at 49ers
