Stu your better then this, Mason had 61 catches last year in a run 1st offense. His production was arguably better then OchoCinco and he is a locker room leader. Throw in the Jets clearly have no confidence in Cotchery's back. They were looking to move him early in the week before the Mason stuff ever started up and he was PUP. That's a red flag to me.
Yep. The 49ers and Packers both let go of QBs who had a hell of a lot more tenure than Cotchery, and both won a SB shortly thereafter.
so much for continuity on offense..... funny thing is, when we got both braylon and santonio...i always thought j-co would be the first to go.
Theres not a single Jet I hate. You misunderstood. I said, I could not give one single fuck about any one of them personally. Theyre gorillas in a green uniform to me. They get paid very well to smash into eachother every Sunday and I pay to see it. I happen to be aligned with the gorillas in teh green shirts. one day they smash into gorillas in blue shirts, then the next week maybe orange shirts. And so on. To have this emo love for players is gay and retarded.
well, this is very sad. I don't understand it, I don't think it helps our team, I just don't getit. Maybe his back injury is worse than it seems?????
My post wasn't meant to be serious. I generally agree with your sentiment even if you do take it to the next level. Cotch gave us all some great moments and memories while he was in a jets uniform, I appreciate what he did and don't like the fact that he needs to go. With that being said I'm not going to bitch and moan about it. This is football, shit happens.
yeah....duh. And change your avatar dude! Do you still love Vilma???/// what the fuck is wrong with you people!!!!?!?!?!?!?!
I know you love me brother. Im purposelt being over the top of course. But I htink the point has been made. Im 40 years old. I should sit around crying because Cotchery's back doesnt work anymore so we're giving his gorilla suit to someone else?
This sucks. Cotch will always be one of my favorite Jets and that catch he made last year against the Browns will be one of my most fondest memories.
I'm not saying the decision was wrong. Remember I put up an analysis last week about Cotch's mis-connection with Mark. But he's still one of my favorite Jets.
I honestly don't understand how some of you can root for someone for 7 years, someone who was a very good player for us, played with a lot of heart, and made a ton of big plays over the years, and then just go "eh" when he's released. This sucks; when someone plays their heart out for 7 years you want them to be able to be a part of a team that wins a Super Bowl, if it does happen.
All I can say is he better go out of the division. I would hate to see him on an AFC East team. Better if he goes out to the NFC West.
When my mom put my gorilla down because his back hurt and brought a new one home I hated the new one.
