I would disagree with the state government subsidizing anything for a professional football team. I'd be pissed if they were handling the laundry detail.
It's truly sickening that with all budget crisis' faced by both the state and federal governments, that a professional football team needs to score several hundred thousand dollars worth of taxpayer money so that they can continue training camp operations in a locale of their choosing. Shitty move by all parties concerned. No great surprise that Schumer the Dick was the driving force behind it.
From what I heard the money is going for capital projects that SUNY Cortland will benefit from too. You want to talk about tax payer dollars? How about getting the team to actually play games in NY State?
Why did you bump two very similar threads? If you're trying to get your post count up, you should do it without drawing too much attention. You're not making a good impression so far.
What are you kidding me? I wrote in similar threads because I'm interested in the training camp topic. I also wrote about the draft...it is the off season right?
