    good points.

and furthermore, i think our secondary matches up much better because they are lacking big-time WR's right now. i mean, if Ben Watson is the threat/go-to guy, i've got to feel pretty confident if i'm the Jets coaching staff.

and because of this, shutting down the run, and no turnovers will be the key to winning.

    cheers

Wow. Totally, totally disagree. NE will do what they always do: stuff the box and press the receivers bringing the safety in to shut down the short passing game. What the Jets need to do, and what Herm never would have done, is throw over the coverage. Medium to long play action on first and second down. Force them to cover deep, then control the clock with short to medium passes and the running game.

We cant rely on chads arm, or on the running game. the most important thing this week is for the Offensive line to play better then they did last week. I know they are young and need time to mold, and this is one of the best teams [new england] to learn against. The defense for the patriots is gonna create havoc all game and our guys need to learn to work as one in the trenches. thats the only way we will be able to establish a running game and keep chad from getting killed in the backfield.
