That's the funniest report I've ever seen. Randy Lange actually "reported" that the Jets didn't trade for Jones. Classic!

There's no way that Bill Parcells could be stupid enough to trade away Jones.

I didn't see much of the Saints this season, I know Deuce went down in the 5th game, does anyone know how extensive his injury is??

Would he be worth exploring with a trade with our extra #2 next year?

If our first two picks turn out the way we hope, there shuld be no need to trade for or pick up anymore backs. I feel we should and will run a RB by comitee offense in which Martin(vet/experience), Houston(power), and Washington(Speed) will all get playing time every game at RB and if one gets hot during a game u stick with him till he cools off. that seems like the logical thing to do until one player emerges and shows they are an every down back and deserve most of the carries(sorta like the chiefs who ran both holmes and johnson).

Mayb even add my favorite pick of this draft BRAD SMITH into the RB rotation

Jones is not necessary. We will do just fine with our running backs. Nothing flashy, like 60 yard runs or anything like that, but I think we will be consistent at the running game. Significantly bettter than last year.

I don't know why but i like what i saw out of cedric houston. I think if he took the front set and let curtis take the back i think houston could turn out to be a good back especially with washington to complement him. I just like what i have seen from him. only if curtis had gotten injured earlier so that houston could have started since the season was dead from when penny got injured

Injuries aside, if we HAPPENED to sign this dude it would/could change my perspective on this whole off season/draft. And, so far, I feel, on the whole, it has been the best off season in recent memory. Too good to be true, though.

He tore his ACL. Too risky to trade a #2 IMO.
