I agree 100%. We do not have a game breaker. Sure, our QB does not have a rocket arm. I agree. But it's not like Calvin Johnson is 5'9" either. Also, I've seen him, with a TORN ROTATOR cuff, throw the ball on the money 55 yds in the air. He's capable. More importantly, having WRs that can get separation, and need to be respected, open up the running game.

I can't see us spending our pick on Defense. Sure, we weren't strong against the run. I agree. However, against any team worth their weight in salt, we did 0 offensively.

Could you imagine the WR corps of Coles, Cotchery, and Johnson?

Throw in Smith as a 4th wideout. Easisly the best WR corps ever...

    From the Folly Asshammer
9:17PM- Update...Lions are close to dealing the #2 overall pick to NYJ. In return Lions are to receive the Jets #25 pick, McCariens, Ken O' Brien, and Blair Thomas.

Has anyone ever heard of this site before?

This report is junk. Though I would be fine with any trade that involved the Jets ending up with Calvin johnson.

    It would be up there.

2002 Raiders with Porter, Rice, and Brown was great.
49ers with Rice, Taylor, and Wilson was superb.
Redskins with Taylor and Mitchell was a great tandem.
The Posse was great (Monk, Sanders, Clark).
Chargers with Jefferson and Joiner was great. Chandler and Joiner was also a great duo.
There are others we can add.

But Johnson, Coles, and Cotchery would be deadly. I don't see how it could happen, though.

Finally, the Lions are out of their minds if they pass on Johnson.

So this is it huh? This is the night before the draft-- the day we have all been talking about for 3 months. So what are we all talking about?

A BS trade Rumor about getting up to the #2 spot. All the talk about how good teams build through the draft, and now there are 6 pages of how CJ would be amazing. When we don't make the trade for Bush last year, we were smart in not giving up the extra picks. Now, a little rumor about CJ and half of you are willing to trade players, picks, and future picks for it.

Will someone please just stick with one belief on how to build a winner.

Actually, it was one of your posts that made me want to write that--

"Could you imagine the WR corps of Coles, Cotchery, and Johnson?

Throw in Smith as a 4th wideout. Easisly the best WR corps ever..."

    Come on man-- Next

Agreed-- it was pretty much aimed at Green Machine and his kid on christmas morning type of excitement about CJ. Everyone knows he's going to be great- for someone else.

This thread should be taken down for false info. Imagine somene's response when they see it for the first time.

So wishing the Jets had a great WR is wrong?

Dude, get over yourself. You think your posts are the only ones that matter.

Should we lock all posts that wish the Jets had a better QB than Chad?

I've been watching the Yankee game all night, so I haven't seen anything going on with the draft really tonight.

I didn't read the other 5 pages in this thread, but honestly.

I rather not see Vilma go. That may just be me, but still, it doesn't make sense.

We cant afford to sign a player drafted as the number 2 pick. No way this happens.
