He dogged it the second half once revis was out...in the minny game he beat cro on a long td (tho the coverage was perfect throw was just better)
My order for WR for next year 1. Braylon resigned 2. Tone resigned 3. Ocho 4. TO 5. Steve Smith 6. Plax right outta jail 7. Joe from Family Guy 8. Danny Woodhead (yes, I ranked Joe from Family Guy above Woodcock) 9. Roger Clemens 10. My boss’s mailman 11. Dominique Strauss Kahn (dudes got hands) 100,000,000 Randy Moss
In Tanny I trust. If Moss has any left in the tank the Jets is one of the only teams that could get it out of him. Would love to see him smoke the Pats.
Amen, brother. It'd be nice to see for one year. Moss has some scores to settle before he hangs up his jock. I think he'd play for Rex Ryan like there's no tomorrow (and there isn't).
fill the contract with incentives---and goal$ ---Tanny can make one up better than anyone-------if that is not doable or Moss says NO,,,,then I say pass. This said I would rather keep Edwards and Holmes
If we could keep both, Moss name would never come up anyway. Let's get ourselves ready loosing either Edwards or Holmes.
Brooklyn----if last years rules apply --I believe we will be able to keep both---------hopefully this lockout is settled one way or another
I dont know why people think Moss would start playing. He would be on a run first team, and at BEST would be the #2 target. But do you really think our young QB is going to want to throw him the ball over Braylon/Cotch/Keller (or assuming edwards is gone Holmes)? Fact is this guy is gonna cry and bitch when he doesnt get the ball. And playing for us, hes not gonna get the ball
Moss is a clown, not worth the trouble... Sign Braylon then give me Lance Moore or Sims-Walker if you cant resign Holmes
IF Moss is still able to deliver the mail on his traditional deep routes (which he has not shown himself able to do in at least a year) he would definitely have value to the team provided his services could be secured at a relatively low cost. Provided there is a resolution to the labor dispute that would allow a proper, no-risk training camp evaluation, I'd see no harm in signing him if meets the team's performance expectations and cost criteria. He did nothing in Minnesota and Tennessee and it is hard NOT to conclude it was at least partially his fault in both cities. What nobody seems to be able to say for certain is whether his failures to perform last year were due to a drop-off in his speed/skill set, being lost in wholly unfamiliar offensive systems or both.
“There’s no question that Randy Moss has the capability, has the God-given talent to be a superstar, and he has been a superstar, particularly with the Patriots,” Johnson told Albert Breer of the NFL Network at this week’s owners’ meetings in Indianapolis. “That’s about all I can say about him, other than I admire his skill and what he’s accomplished during those years.” http://www.thejetsblog.com/2011/05/...ss/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
Agree with the posturing. What is the Edwards/Detroit posturing?? BE talking about going to the lions??
Yea i get that and the Michigan ties. Just had not heard that he had mentioned going to Detroit if he did not re-sign with the Jets. So little football news and I still miss stuff!
Surely most Jets fans are tired of signing cast-off washed-up diva players in the twilight of their careers?
