Seems like blaming everyone other than Sanchez is the last refuge of the Sanchez Fan. One day it's the coaches, one day it's the receivers, another the OL. On occasion it is the ballboy, on others, admitedly the rare one, it is the team bus driver.

Anyone, and everyone, other than Sanchez.

Reggie Bush is a free agent, and would be ideal in the West Coast Offense. I am assuming we could pick him up with something like a 3 Yr 11 Million dollar contract. He would also be a good compliment to Powell.

    Thoughts?

Can't it be Sanchez and all of the above. Our WRs were injured and played poorly. Our O line was very inconsistent and extremely weak at the guard positions. Our TE also injured and unable to block. The OC was absolutely terrible and Sanchez instead of overcoming adversity sunk the ship even lower.

I would love Bush but isn't he expected to resign with Miami? he's proven to be able to take the majority of carries and will help the passing game. He also doesn't have that many carries on his legs since he didn't do too much in NO.

no, this is logical. we deal with absolutes and hard line stances on this board.

sanchez sucks because he sucks.the fact that the whole offensive staff has been dismissed is because sanchez sucks. the wr's suck because sanchez sucks. the o.l was mediocre beause sanchez sucks. suggesting anything else makes you an obvious homer and sanchez fanboy

    Spot on.

Though week one with a healthy cast he only missed two open throws.

Kerley bailed him out on one, and he blantantly misse Holmes.

    But it was week one.

Man, I'd take him in a heart beat. He is perfect for WC and can catch passes with the best of them. That's the main thing Greene sucked at. It would be nice to have an explosive guy like him, and Powell would be a good complimentary back for him. This off season is going to be very tricky, but I think he'd be one of the better choices out there, and the price will probably be right. And if he's upset that Miami didn't try to resign him, what better place to go, than the Jets? Although wasn't there that whole incident with him saying Revis deserved to get injured? Or was that somebody else?

How much would Bush demand in the open market? Does Reggie Bush want to burn Miami for letting him go? I don't think we can fit him, but would love to have him here. He would be a RB that can turn a 4 yard pass/run into a 60 yard TD. Something we have missed probably once LTs legs gave away in 2010

It depends on what MM thinks he can get out of Joe McKnight, in the Westbrook role.

Why make the same mistake we made with Leon Johnson?

I'm sure he can get some fumbles, dropped passes, and missed blocking assignments out of McKnight.

How about we see what Joe McKnight can do? We barely used the guy since he's been here and he could be explosive if given more chances.

If that's true, than MM shouldn't be a coach.

Fumbling, is a coaching point. Put the ball in your armpit. (tiki barber)

Dropped Passes, is a coaching point. (put your fucking thumbs together and keep your eyes on the ball, till you tuck it in your armpit).

Blocking assignments? The first guy you see, hit him at the knees...

Did you just start watching football?

I have a 14 year old, that played his first year of football, and understands those points.

You can't teach speed or elusiveness.

Maybe if you understood what's teaching, and what's not... You wouldn't sound like a doofus.

lmao at the internet tough guy.
I played football for a very long time.

so i guess McKnight has never had a coach, coz he's never gotten those concepts. at some point the player is responsible for executing, and McKnight certainly hasn't.

I think the most shocking development so far is learning Hobbes has a 14 year old. I wonder if he slings personal insults around at anyone that disagrees with him at his bus stop.

No tough guy. Those are merely observations.

    http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=70918&draftyear=2010&genpos=rb

    Never gotten those concepts....

And like Sanchez, mcKnight has had no real coaching at the nfl level, unless you are now endorsing Schottenheimer, and Sparano.

blaming sanchez = shooting fish in barrel. easy. but pointless since he's not going anywhere and since the NYJ a) aren't going to eat his K and b) can't afford to bring in anybody better than him. Hence the move to bring in MM and see if the WCO can revitalize Sanchez. Along w/a few personnel moves on O it might work to make Sanchez more effective and enable the NYJ to become an average NFL O.

    Stop Making Sense.

It's like the two posters above, attacking me for endorsing the move, in terms of McKnight,

Yes, guys...he can't catch, and fumbles constantly.

That's why he's one of the best kick off returners in the league.

(voted all pro, by pro Football Weekly, and the pro football writers of America in 2011)

    But, you're right, they're wrong....really.
