I misread , thought you suggested he would rent out for a year, my mistake Still buying another house, furnishing, moving, then selling two before he returns to his actual home in California. It's just more hassle that's all. Not impossible of course but a bit easier. But either way, like I said before, doesn't really matter.
Yeah, he'd need to rent a UHaul and go to Home Depot to buy boxes and then pack all that crap up and after he gets it all loaded up he'd need to drive six hours to Pittsburgh. After all that he'd probably need to stay at a Motel 6 near his house because he'd be too tired to unload it the same night. What a pain in the ass.
You are right, he will just magically arrive to Pittsburgh with his house and everything in it teleported and all taken care of without him even needing to pick up the phone.
Do you really believe Rodgers does anything at all in respect to moving? He gets handed a key to a place that meets the specs he gives to an assistant. Rodgers doesn’t pack boxes or furnish shit.
You don't see how even if you are rich it is still less hassle not to buy new house, sell old one, move everything, adjust to new place, surroundings, etc, just for one year? Maybe a benefit could be getting a new girlfriend though
For him, no. He doesn’t do any of that. He shows up and lives in it, then leaves. He’s not selling his old house here or buying one in PIT or wherever he lands this season. He gets handed the keys to an apt or house that some assistant rented or purchased on his behalf. It’s furnished and filled with all the food and amenities he prefers. When he’s done the furniture is sold or returned if rented, and the house is sold on his behalf. Rodgers doesn’t lift a finger in the process. Seriously, you think the guy is packing boxes and selling furniture on Craigslist?
Are we kidding worrying about where AR house is to make his final selection. AR primary residence was in CA the whole time he played in GB or in NY. The rest of them are temporary. NJ residence is not a final destination no more than Pittsburgh. He is going to keep Beverly Hills as number one and go where he has the best chance to win a championship and he is wanted. He ain’t the warm and tender family man with worries and kids in school.
The bad team Giants being this all in on Aaron Rodgers with the team they have and after having a literal front row seat to watch what transpired here is just....wow. I don't care how well the players speak of Daboll. Allowing him to drag this franchise though a clearly set up to fail Aaron Rodgers run, fresh off of dragging the franchise through half a decade of Daniel Jones, is 100% Woody level dysfuction. Just fire him already, call it a full rebuild, and move on.
If the Giants have another bad season next year it will be more than Daboll getting fired. Schoen will be going with him. I would imagine they clean house and start over with a new GM/HC.
As the old saying goes, "If this is how he treats you during the courtship, how's he going to treat you after the ring goes on?"
The Jets canned Rodgers meanwhile two playoff teams want him. Speaks for itself. Jets are just a joke.
Kinda curious if all this supposedly intense Rodgers and Russ focus coming out of the NYG is indicative of them either not liking Shadur, or Deion making it known behind the scenes they are also on "the list". It was given to me that both Cleveland and the Jets would be on it, but the NYG being on that too might actually present a somewhat interesting draft play out leading up to #7. Especially if the Pats' inability to land a better free agent WR sways them into drafting for need with McMillan at #4
Rodgers seems like the type of weirdo that sleeps on a waterbed in a room surrounded by lava lamps that are filled with goat testicles. All for maximum relaxation.
