Jets have $80M to spend, but is Maccagnan right guy to spend it?

    Well I posted my other reply before seeing the other thread about Sheldon but it is by Manish so not sure if that makes it more or less reliable lol

    I want someone else making these decisions. Macc needs to go away.

    There's no doubt in my mind, Mac will spend the money wisely and make the team better. The problem is QB? For however many good players you think he's drafted, he's a big fat zero on QB's. He's also only going to get one more shot. If he doesn't get it right this time, he'll get fired before he gets another shot at drafting another QB.

    The Jets should be in on the GM search right there with the Giants, Browns and every other team looking to find a quality GM this offseason.

    Gettleman is a quality GM he built a 17-2 Super Bowl team in Carolina. Doug Whaley is another qulaity GM.

    Instead the Jets will wait a year or two or three from now to pull the plug on this guy by then these guys will be off the market and we'll end up with another entry level hire no one except Woody and his search firm have heard of.

    The 2018 offseason is so key for the Jets future WHY does this guy get to chart the course for the next 5-10 years of Jets football?
