Shall we pay for Cower now and have him gut and rebuild this mess or shall we spend a ton of money for yet another season so we can have this same sorry a** Conversation again next year.

Last season was harder for me cuz most Jet fans were saying Mangini was good and needed more time, hearing that took years off my life. This season is better because now everyone knows Mangini is a fraud.

It isn't sneaking in when you win the games you need to. Phins and Pats both showed more heart than the Jets.

You'll need a GM. Cowher is a very good coach, but he has never built any team.

You can't be serious. We went from 8-3 to 9-7, that's pathetic. Mangini took a 10-6 team in 2006, and by 2008, AFTER adding loads of improvements, brought them to 9-7. That is pathetic considering this roster is 100x better than that one, fire him now.

I believe Tannenbaum is a fine GM. He has upgraded the personnel in nearly every area where it was necessary. He's generally great with the draft. And he's a genius with the cap. Cowher with Tannenbaum as his GM would make me very happy.

Well, maybe we should talk to some of the Bucs fans to make us feel better. Their collapse was a least just as bad, if not worse.

What are you on drugs? This is probably one of the most bullshit seasons I've ever experieced in 30 plus years. This team needs to be gutted, they suck

The Jets had a good season, but it won't seem that way today.

Our pass rush improved, O-line improved, DL improved, LBs improved, and some of our high talent young players improved a ton...specifically D'Brick and Revis.

Take it over and carry it into next year. Some people like to tie what happened to this team in the 80's and every other time to each other...I don't see it like that...the organization assesses itself and moves on.

I expect to see some major changes early. Too many players pussied out and mailed it in once we beat the Titans, and I hope everyone receives an individual kick in the nuts.

Oh and on that Bucs collapse...man I love that irony in that. Just a couple days ago someone posted a quote from Gruden on motivation while implying that our coaching staff can't do it. Shaun Ellis gets arrested or cited for weed 3 weeks before the NFL season ends...who's fault is that?

The Jets have alot of good things to take out of this season, but it's obvious the maturity level is not there yet. Some guys are gonna have to go, and I'm interested to see just who goes.

our pass rush improved??....our pass rush has been AWOL since November. Backup QB's had ALL FUCKIN' DAY to throw the ball on us for the last 5 weeks. I don't seen any improvement there whatsoever....unless by saying "improvement" you mean "regression"..then i would agree with you.

Our secondary sucks shit and we have no pass rush. We don?t have a QB, and we need receivers with breakaway speed. Our linebackers suck and have hardly any QB sacks. About the only thing I would keep is the O line. Jenkins, for all his disappearing act in the last 4 weeks can walk out the door as far as I?m concerned

Uuuum...we went from 29 sacks to 40...thats not regression.

If you're talking about it's in season play...yea they regressed after November.

early in the season...the pass rush was there....but after November, it disappeared...where it counted.

Hopefully a new coaching regime will fix the lack of consistency this team has shown time and time again.

I would have signed up for 9 wins going into this season, so I can sort of see where you're coming from. But after being 8-3, going 9-7 and missing the playoffs, losing the games we lost to the crap teams we lost to, I'm definitely not a happy camper.

Whatever. I'll be there next year again.

I don't think we had a good season because we were 8-3.

But overall, considering everything, after 4-12, I didn't mind this season. We took a risk, it didn't work out, whatever. Life goes on.

I would really be hurting if I was the Bucs or Pats or something and I knew I had a decent team and missed out but this team is horrible on almost every level.

You've got to be kidding me. Is this your first year rooting for this team?

They were never given hope by beating Titans and Patriots back to back and being 8-3.

    1. I said that.

    2. That's the way to get consistency...change shit up when things go "bad."
