You must've missed some of his earlier throws. He had a gorgeous long ball - 50-60 yards in the air- called back for holding. He can make ALL the throws..
I have no doubt of that. Its his medium range stuff I was referring to. He has the arm, now he will need to learn finesse.

That is certainly the offseason plan for sure.Bowles was just good enough to ruin us from the top QB's this year. The team was set up to tank and he would have a mulligan to get this team winning next year. Now when they stink next year with McCown again he will be fired in season.

Some nice throws but 3 passes knocked down, others way off target, interception in the red zone. Yep. sounds like a Jet QB. Just based on this game I am not overly impressed with either QB. I haven't seen enough of either one to really say though.

Rosen's turnovers in the RZ were brutal tonight. Both guys looked the part and will need some polish but will start Day 1. I do like Darnold's mobility more than Rosen. They will likely be selected before we pick though. Giants will grab one of them
Darnold is an all-time level prospect, imo. He reminds me of Montana; best pocket presence I've seen on the college level I can remember. I think Rosen is talented enough to be a good pro QB, but I'm worried about the "his teammates hate him" red flags.
Proof? I personally know a bunch of people in the program and none have anything bad to say about him. Take a lot of what’s said by “scouts” with a grain of salt...like teams drafting lower whonwould love to see him drop to their pick
