I just think it's stupid. It would be stupid for a bunch of blue collar fans to get together to raise $50k to pay a fine for a millionaire that is due to a billionaire. It would look especially stupid if that $50k fine is not actually going to cost Rex a dime as many have suggested. Take your dollar and donate it to someone who needs it.
Alrighty- I was thinking in terms of showing a "fuck you" to Phin fans in our united front, from HC to the fan. I get it, you don't like the idea. Does a 100,000 fans giving fifty cents work for you? My guess is no, "It's stupid why post this on a Jet fan forum, give your fifty cents to someone else" I like the idea, I just think it would add to the already hateful venom being tossed around between the two fanbases.

Yeah. Send what you can to Haiti. My wife and I did and we feel pretty good about that. Kicking in money to pay for Ryan's fine is just plain silly. In fact, I think Ryan himself would be the first to put a stop to it if it ever got started. He'd probably tell everyone to send the money to Haiti instead.
He can't keep that money. If we managed to raise the 50K for Rex, I guarantee you he would donate it to charity.
