The LARGE majority of Yankees fans are from Uptown (Harlem, Bronx, I myself am an AVID Yankees fan) and Connecticut, believe it or not, Jersey and other states, there are A LOT of Yankees fans here in Atlanta, then again a alot of them are from up north.

Your Mets fans tend to be S.I., Queens and L.I. natives, Brooklyn is split since they had the Dodgers a lot of your OLDER BK people have a NATURAL hatred of the Yankees, go figure. LOL!

NY Jets Fan Base: Where Are They Located

Has anybody ever seen or heard of a detailed study showing WHERE the NY Jets fan base is concentrated ? I know for sure that Jet fans outnumber Giant fans out on Long Island because of all the years out at Hofstra.

But I wanted to know about where the fan base is located throughout, and also what % of football fans in each territory (esp. NJ, where MetLife is located) are Jet or Giant fans.

I'm sure the Jet hierarchy knows, maybe someone saw a piece on this by Mehta or Cimini. This goes back to my disappointment that the Jets could never get a stadium out in Queens where they would probably be closer to their natural base and have more fans and an easier time in selling PSL's.

Idaho. I'd buy PSLs if they built a stadium here.

My impression was always that it was concentrated in Queens, Long Island and NJ (though NJ seems to be a mix of Jets/Giants fans). I'm not into baseball but I've been told it generally mirrors the Mets fan base.

We've had a major poll here in the past of what region everyone is from. It's more spread out than you'd think.

Another poll also determined that the Jets fans are Mets fans assumption is a myth.
