I think Most of us Jet Fans attack anybody who says anything bad about our team even if it is the truth. Most of us look at our team through Green colored glasses at some point or another.
Some do. I'm not sure about most. I don't think most are homers. As for the defensiveness stuff, I don't want to sound like I look down on Jet fans who are defensive. Not at all. I just personally don't care what others think about the Jets, or Jet fans. There's reason to be defensive if you assign cred to those who are haters. But that's the thing, I don't.
I agree! Jets fans shouldn't care about what the media writes about the team--especially since the media has been wrong 99% of the time when they make predictions about the NY Jets. As much as I like Steve Serby (NY Post), if I have to read ONE MORE column in the preseason where he quotes Joe Namath and predicts that the Jets will win the Super Bowl... Well... I will write an angry letter to the New York Post, for sure!
