    people who are upset have no idea whats going on with this team. we need a backup plan for mo if he demands big money and we don't give it to him. we now have the flexibility to trade mo ad not overcommit to the defense. if we drafted for white, how would he fit in? have him run around in the slot? the only receiver i'd take over williams was cooper, and he was gone.

    if we trade mo and land devante parker, that would be so sweet (pipe dream tho)

    Best player in the draft, period! Would be the #1 overall pick in most drafts, Kiper's top-rated player, much better prospect than Winston or Mariota......and absolute steal at #6! Best Jets draft pick of all time, easy! :) :) :) :) :)

    Maybe. Or maybe he'll hardly play. I mean the best case scenario is he pushes one of our other first round picks off the roster...which just means we wasted a different first round pick.

    I am waiting to see what happens next Fall with this Team. Williams looks like he can block a pass and run for a touchdown.

    The way the FO thinks its only way to score points until Geno replaced.

    i didn't even research leo because there would be NO WAY HE WOULD DROP TO US

    We're not going to be a legendary defense, this pick reminds me of the Milliner pick (which I despised look it up), Revis is gone we'll pick Milliner, Mo is going to be traded let's pick another fucking DE.

    At some point you have to draft offensive talent to not suck. How about just fucking pay Mo and pick White? If they trade Mo it's like we didn't even have a #1 pick in the draft.

    No fan is pissed at the Williams pick because of the value of the player. He is going to be great. It is the thought of losing Wilkerson, and not adding strength elsewhere that is upsetting.

    This reminds me of the Sheldon Richardson pick. Fans stunned, scratching their heads, then he goes on to become a beast. Williams is a can't miss pick, the best player in this draft, and an absolute STEAL at #6!!! :) :) :) PINCH ME!!!!

    Alot of folks questioned taking Richardson because we had Wilk. Look how that turned out. The Jets just selected the top 1-3 player in the draft and a sure fire cornerpiece for the next 5 years.

    That allowed us to move Coples to OLB it didn't work but we had that flexibility. We now have at least one stud sitting the bench at all times in a base defense.

    Its not that, it just not a area that we weren't remotely struggling in. If we went 4-3 id be more excited. But I dont think we have the lbs for that really.

    Well said. Some of our fanbase will defend anything though. We had people screaming up and down about the "ingenious" picks of Coples, Milliner, and Pryor, etc. This was a luxury pick for a team that couldn't afford a luxury
