Even if it got past lee, he still would have thrown it behind Keller and Brooking would have had a shot at picking it off.
One play that bothered me a lot: after Sanchez's interception, how could nobody have tackled Lee until the 1 yard line? It looked like Keller wasn't even trying. The pick itself was bad, but letting him return it all the way to the goal line was inexcusable. Everyone on the field aside from Sanchez has to take on the mindset of a defensive player after a turnover.
As I said, Sanchez acquitted himself well except for that terrible throw. He was trying to do too much too fast instead of going for the safe check down to the RB.
He does have those come hither eyeballs that the ladies (and some particular guys) love. ARods sporting a purse and a healthy dose of HGH. I do respect that Miles, and his wifey.
Finheaven's funny. Jets were lucky, will be 8-8 at best this season, Revis is overrated and was getting beat all night. And then this little nugget of miserable truth: Well without playing a game, this season couldn't have started any worse. The Bills win in a blow out, the Jets pull one out of their collective azzes, and we draw the Pats on National tv.
Mason, LT, Holmes, Burress, and Keller each had at least 3 catches. Great to see. Was it just me or does Keller look like a RT? Crazy, awesome win.
Sorry, I remembered someone saying something about him smiling after he fumbled at the goal line. Guess I'm too tired and worn out after that game and responding too quickly.
