very hard to say, if one team is more popular than the other here. There?s no talking about Football in the Media here, so everybody basicly picks his own team, that?s why it should be pretty even, maybe teams like the Pats, 9ers, Steelers or Cowboys have some more Fans than the Texans or Brown, but i don?t think you could say, that any team has a great following here.

    Get a new one

I got a Vilma one a few months back and I want a Washington jersey now (Leon, not redskins)

The one thing I do know about Jets support in this country is that amongst British players and people associated with Britball , the Jets are not popular which I attribute to players getting seduced by the 'winning teams' and therefore wanting to emulate their heros.
For the 13 years I played with 3 teams and I was the only fan in all of them. I would also say that the individuals in the different teams that I have met are all very mad and very loud , must be a prerequisite

So, for those who missed waht Kirkwood said , he announced that we will get another NFL game somehwhere in the UK and something else which he was 'excited' about....any ideas?
I hope its season tickets or even better multiscreen like they do for football first.

An NFL Sunday Ticket thing would be incredible. It's amazing how quickly I've got fed up of watching on a tiny screen on my PC! I would pay ?10 per game for that but would have to think a bit if it was much more... then I'd pay it.

This idea was mooted a few years back by "First Down" who said it was seriously being looked at and would roll soon. Haven't heard anything since then but I hope this is it. Good veiving figures for Sky must make it an attractive proposition. Lets hope.

How much per season do you reckon they would be? bearing in mind there are only 16 games

Max I would pay is ?150

Hope it happens. I got 1 Jets game on sky last year and that was the opener. They kept moving them to red button and I was on Virgin Media then

Be totally up for being able to pay to watch each game live. I have kind of got fed up of the Streaming thing as well, I prefer the live experience but being in the UK i have only got to one game a season so far for the last couple of years. So being able to watch them all on my large HD TV would be awesome.

I think we are all of the same feeling. If the NFL wants the game to grow in Europe/UK they will have to do something.
The NFL/Yahoo gamepass I think was a toe dipped into the market. I have now bought that package for the last 2 seasons and am happy with the quality. Most of the time I watch it full screen on my PC and its as good as analogue , but I'm with you Sandman , HD is the way.
I really really hope that we do get the sunday ticket , and neworderdude I think it will be about that mark ?150 , which is slightly more than the Yahoo gamepass which would tie in.
    Fingers crossed.

I'd be happy with that , if indeed this is the line up. 'Sources' always makes think BS.
    Jets stay in US thankyou.

Goodell announced it would be San Diego - New Orleans playing in London this year. Also, the Bills will be playing a few home games in Toronto (but I don't know if that starts this year or not).

For anyone who hasn't read it yet. I also found the part about possible re-seedings for the playoffs interesting.

    http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2008/02/nfl_defends_destruction_of_spy.html

Other highlights from Goodell's State of the NFL speech:

-- The NFL's international reach continues to grow. The Saints and Chargers will follow in the Giants' footsteps, playing next season's game in London. The teams will meet at Wembley Stadium on Oct. 26. And the league has approved the Bills' desire to play a regular-season game in Toronto in each of the next five seasons.

-- For the first time in years, the league is considering revamping seedings in the playoffs to assure that more late-season games are meaningful. That could lead to a wild-card team actually hosting a first-round game if it has a better record than the division winner it is meeting.
