    From the Jets perspective.

Obviously we need to do what we do and keep pressure on the QB, someone said we need to sack him. No, we don't. Chargers fans said the same thing. A bit of pressure is always gonna affect a throw.

Too many times in the first half of the S.D. game I felt we had a bit of a breakdown or miscommunication and let the WR's/TE's get open in the middle of the field. The Colts will tear us up if we don't fix this. We can't let them catch big gains in the middle of the field wide open. And if they do we need to tackle them as soon as they get it. YAC could kill us.

We did a great job containing the screens vs S.D. and as much as Donald Brown or whoever they put back there could cause problems if we misjudge it, I don't think it will happen.

On the offensive side of the ball it's easy. RUN RUN RUN. Run up the middle of the field right at them. Mathis and Freeny are to quick to beat them on outside runs. We need to jam it down their throats and be physical.

On passing situations Freeny came in untouched multiple times. We can't let that happen. At least put a body on him. I wanna see Sanchez get a tad bit more pass attempts in the first half. It seemed he got a lot more confidence the more he threw it. We need to ease him into that so he's ready to throw the football but still keep our ground game the main plan. Play-actions should be very effective if we can call them at the right times just like the Cinci Wild Card game.

Now is not the time to be experimenting with that formation in fact I don't even want to see that thing on Sunday, Indy is weaker up the middle than San Diego was, and looking at the last game against them even before they pulled their starters and TJ was very effective against them we just have to avoid being stupid at times (bad playcalling/penalties)

    For the Jets:

There's no bullshit here. Don't let them get out to a fast start. Defense needs to play solid from the beginning. Kick off needs to be shut down before it reaches the 30. To keep Manning less of an issue, Manning needs to start consistently with an 80-90 yard field. One interception early will silence that crowd until their first score.

Pressure Manning, continue blitzing to prevent a running game. The D Line also needs to do a better job at getting their hands in the air, especially the guys in the front of the pocket. They're going to try to throw it in the middle of the field since it seemed to work for SD. Sacks are nice, but not crucial.

Offense, keep punching them in the mouth with the running game. By the third or fourth Jets possession, Sanchize should be ready to utilize play action.

Colts are too fast to effectively run the wild cat up unless it can be done at the last second from the line. The option probably isn't going to work well this weekend either.

Braylon Edwards needs to have a good game. Since the big drop in Cinci I think he's been overlooked.

    For the Colts:

Score fast, score early, utilize the deep ball but beware of Revis. I predict a lot of last second audibles to try to mismatch him. Although I have yet to believe Revis will ever meet his match.

Running game. While we'll be blitzing and hurting them hardcore, if they consistently run on us every defense eventually starts to buckle.

Tight Ends are gonna have to make a lot of the plays for Indy.

On defense, blitz blitz blitz. Sanchez has so far been perfect, as has the O-Line. However, at the end of the day, if everything goes right for the Colts, you can still get into his head.

    Score prediction?

    Jets 17
    Colts 15

Game ends in a Manning interception on a last second hail mary. Nine out of every 10 Jets fans will have irregular heart beats through the superbowl.

Colts Defense concerns me a bit. With so much focus on Manning and the Offense, I feel their D is overlooked. Stats aside, they have some very good players on that D and the Jets are going to need to do a better job on Freeney and Mathis.

This game will come be won or lost based on turnovers in my opinion.
