Nice to see Cumberland getting in on the action, even if the ball Clemens threw wasnt even a spiral.

I don't get fair catches in preseason. Aren't these guys suppose to prove something? Yeah, that's for you McKnight.

If our special teams is half as good as this in the regular season, good things are coming.

It was a completion and that is what counts.. How did Sanchez do statistically tonight?

Thank you. That's not very impressive but it is a vanilla offense tonight. It works that way for all the players including Clemens, McKnight etc.

Sanchez was actually worse than his numbers appear.

He had 2 or 3 balls get batted down at the line, he had at least 2 interceptions that he threw that got dropped (one of them he can thank Braylon for breaking up), and it felt like he was almost always looking to force a short throw to the HB.

But to be fair the Oline definitely holds some of the fault since guys were getting at Sanchez way too fast.

Only highlight of the first string offense was that LT continues to show flashes

They also need to prove that theyre not idiots.

If they get drilled/fumble/injured its not good for their careers.

What a difference a game makes.

First team o line was a turn style. Brick got burned and gave up a sack.

Sanchez and the receivers were out of sync.

Cromartie got run over by Williams.

The team that took the field tonight is not winning the Super Bowl.

Also with all the hype this team cannot afford to play Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde this season.

Heres the thing, in a real game, would they have rebounded and responded to adversity by improving after the first quarter? I say yes.

this is the kind of mentality that's given Jets fans their loser persona over the years. It's time to start thinking differently, buttmunch. we need to feel good about our team even when they don't play well or keep our mouths shut. it's embarrassing.

I don't want to make too much out of preseason, but I'm pulling for the guy.

This was the most he's shown since he first buckled up the chin strap on his Jets' helmet.

You're right. There is no preseason Super Bowl, and that's a salient point.

That was probably one of the worst preseason games I have ever seen.

Oh God, you mean there's a contest? I'd hate to see the other contenders.

No, I mean in terms of either team not showing anything.

Ok so the Jets went from 1 preseason game where, with the exception of 1 play, the starting offense was fine to excellent. To another preseason game on 5 days rest, where the starters, knowing they were hardly going to play at all, looked like crap. Yes, you can definitely extrapolate no Super Bowl from that.............

Oh yeah Jets fans, overreact much?
