You are right on point. Jets had two games recently (Miami and Atlanta) where everything had aligned perfectly and held a decent lead and momentum only to completely collapse in the 4th quarter. Lets see if they have improved on their killer instinct against a wounded opponent.

 

Will this game set the record for oldest Qb's ever to start a game against each other?

 

Pats vs. Jets didn't set the record when McCown and Brady played. Fitz is only 34 believe it or not.

 

Jets -2 1/2. Not a good scenario historically.

I was pretty sure Fitzpatrick would never win another game for the Jets, but he has a chance to get them a Win this Sunday. What a world!

 

All we need is Jurassic Chan on the Tampa sidelines to be complete.

 

Definitely not oldest, but I would have to think this game is up there in terms of most teams the two starting QBs have played for. And of course there's the added irony that the Bucs QB recently played for the Jets, and the Jets QB recently played for the Bucs.

 

This game is definitely the most journeyman QB game of all time. The amount of teams that Fitz and McCown have played for combined has to be a record

And it'll break the record set by Fitz and McCown last year. Which tied the record set by Fitz and McCown in 2015.

Apparently Wilk has been playing on a broken toe this entire month. It's weird that he's actually gotten better within this span of time.

on a sidenote, this is a typical trap game for the jets. hope bowles has them humbled and ready. it's the 1st game we are supposed to win this year

Fitz would go on to throw 5 interceptions that game, including 2 pick 6's and a lost fumble.

 

The bottom line the Jets have to come out of that tunnel in Tampa with twice as much fire in thier belly as the Bucs. Fitzpatrick is licking his beard for a chance to stick it to the Jets and take away the positive momentum they gave coming off thier victory last Thursday night. I want to see our defense swarming to the ball Sunday.
