I don't know, i personally like the "Tangini" nickname, has a flair to it like "Bennifer". Hopefully Tangini lasts longer then Bennifer. (can't believe i made a Bennifer reference, someone shoot me) Nice article, great read.
Abyzmul..... we need to spread the word.... these should be self-respecting football men for pete's sake! Now they like the term "Tangini" because it is like Bennifer?!!! Yikes.
Yes, my friend. This is the sad state of affairs today. When "Bennifer" can cross the threshold of a man's mouth without a hint of disgust, masculinity has suffered a blow.
I agree. Not to mention our coaching staff I can't wait till the Mangini haters start pouncing after week 5.
Okay, so have we settled on RobinRobin as the new name for the Jet's FO/CS hydra? That'll settle the issue for the Tangini haters and unfortunately will lead to Mannenbaum never being accorded it's due place as the viable alternative.
How the Hell are they Upgrade? Then, Every other statement is that they're "Developmental players". Sorry, I can't really get into what he's saying which is a bunch of -Nothin to say just wait and see......
Why should I did you think he would print a retraction? It was not against Borges it was against the media in general who do not know there right hand from there left IMHO
Exacyly what success are you talking about? Unless I am very, very mistaken we did not win a AFC championship nor a SB in the 80s now did we?
With O/Lman you will know if Fergy & Man have the right stuff after a year. Remember what ESPN said about Fergy that he will not be able to handle speed rushers. So if they are correct then Fergy is a bust before the starting gate even goes up
I guess you know better than anyone else. I haven't seen anything that says he cannot handle speed rushers - his strongest asset as an offensive lineman is his athleticism and quick feet so handling speed rushers shouldn't be an issue. Where are you getting this idea from? Are you making things up? It isn't fair to call any rookie a bust after one season. You really want this team to fail don't you? I've never seen you make a post that wasn't negative about the team in some way or another - what's your deal?
What, are you kidding me? Man, I can't wait to have lunch with you. You can take one look at Ferguson playing without even knowing much about football and know he'll handle the speed rushers better than the bull-rushers. Who on ESPN said this? Or is this one of the empty points you're going to use to support your biased argument?
http://nfldraft.rivals.com/cviewplayer.asp?Player=848&PT=7&PR=2&type=scoutingreport http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/draft/2006-03-22-ferguson-feature_x.htm http://www.footballsfuture.com/2006/prospects/dbrickashaw_ferguson.html You were saying??
LOL, the knock on him is that he can't handle speed rushers? First I've heard that. He's supposed to be a great pass protector. The area where he might have some question marks is his run blocking.
Guess you do not listen enough too ESPN on draft day. They also showed video of him to back up there contention
All means nothing we will C when the fat lady sings. They said those same things of DeW also zif you can remember that far back. If you go way back they said those things also of Powell/Ward & Cadigan
So, when analysts say something positive, it "all means nothing", but when they say something negative, you live and die by it. Man, if we could all be more like CJ69.
