Montee Bell, RB out of Wisconsin. we need to stop neglecting the offense. If Rex and Woddy want ground and pound on offense its time to get a back who can handle the load

    **8 since 2001 (and 6 centers).

You're correct that no OG should go inside the top 12, but to disprove what I quoted, outside of the last 2 years [[going back to 1995]]: Iupati (17th); Grubbs (29th); Davin Joseph (23rd); Logan Mankins (32nd); Kendall Simmons (30th); Steve Hutchinson (17th); Alan Faneca (26th); Chris Naeole (10th); Jeff Hartings (23rd); Ruben Brown (14th).

Elite Offensive Guards warrant first round picks (personally I'd much rather take a perennial pro bowler middle-to-late in the first round to solidify the O-Line than gamble on an offensive weapon), but that doesn't mean every draft's top OG is worthy of a first round pick.

Yeah this is my thinking as well. I think 9 is too high for a guard... As much as I want to draft offense this entire draft, I would probably rather address pass rush instead of a guard that high.

Ideally, I want to trade back. Historically theres alot of movement around 7-10 in the draft and I would love to trade back and pick up a 2nd or a 2nd + 3rd. I would rather trade back and grab Warford in the 2nd than Warmack at 9.

Knowing the Jets they'll probably draft a kicker.

trading back into the late teens and grabbing a second and a third and then someone like warmack or mingo would be awesome.

what to do with pick nine.

    I KNOW ITS EARLY. BUT
    RIGHT off the bat.
I say trade it IF you can.
Need picks to overcome years ofwasting picks in trades.
Additional second and third rounders would help.

You should check out the draft section. Lot of people talking about trading down or who they want with the pick.

    We Need Offensive Talent

It has been neglected since Rex came inboard.nis Greene coming? If not we will need a RB. Is Keller coming back if not we will need a TE. Will we be bringing Braylon back if not we will need another WR because if I see Chaz Schillens on the field I will hurl. Backup QB is also a must with Tebow going bye bye.

See where the draft is going. If possible, see if the pick can be flipped for multiple picks.

#TankForTeo. He's exactly what we need. Sadly I don't see him falling to 9 to us. Otherwise I'm definitely okay with Werner from FSU.

I understand that you should (almost) always take BPA in the first round, but we have passed on way too many game-changers/solid OL in the 1st to beef up our defense over the last 3 years. I would not take back the Mo Wilk pick, but passing on the likes of Gronk, Doug Martin, etc for a defensive player cannot happen this year.

This team is going absolutely nowhere unless we make notable improvements to our offense.

I completely agree on this. If an opportunity to trade down and take one of the top O-linemen or a LB/DE presents itself it has to be a strong consideration.

I'm thinking that they draft pash rusher and end up with the sack exchange part deux with Wilkerson, Coples, Ellis and pash rusher.

Then go offense heavy the rest of the draft.
