having a better team then the last 2 seasons doesnt say much, since we were god awful those 2 seasons as well. We absolutely suck. there are no ifs, ands, or buts about it. we are bad in all 3 phases and coaching. an elite all-word defensive line is the only thing keeping us in these games. we easily get blown out by green bay and the lions if the dline wasnt insane

If Geno still looks lost out there he's going to get replaced at half time. Developing a QB is a good thing to do but losing games when he can't play the game is not. There are a lot of people who are good enough to be a backup QB in the NFL. There are very few good enough to be a starter and at this point Geno is playing himself out of a job.
You may be right Br4d. If this game starts to slip away, Rex would be a fool to keep Geno in the game. So far, this game is shaping up to be the most important of the season for us. Turning point for better or worse.
I think he's more likely to get replaced in a closer game where the offense just can't get rolling or he's turned it over at a key time (again). Rex can't keep doing that to his defense. That's how he winds up in trouble. If it's a blowout and both sides are doing poorly then we'll see Geno back in the second half unless he's doing so badly that they just can't keep him in. The Jets are going to bring Vick into a winnable game if they make a halftime move.
