jetsyanks obviously. I'm this season is going great so far! I do care more about the jets than the yankees though, because there's a small difference in years since last championship.
I've been a Jets fan my whole life, but actually grew up a Pirates fan baseball wise. Got my heart broken at a young age w/ those Bonds/Bonilla/Van Slyke teams that could never get past Atlanta. After that I stayed loyal for about 10 more years until i couldn't take rooting for a team that was never on Tv and was basically a AA team for big market NL teams. I always mildly liked the Yankees...and in HS local boston fans here in CT became intolerable. I jumped on the Yanks bandwagon around the age of 17...have stayed loyal ever since. With that said, baseball is nothing but a passtime in the NFL offseason and after seeing a few Yanks titles I care more about not hearing ridiculous gloating from Sox and Mets fans. I will say however seeing the Jets have a great beginning to their season combined w/ the Yanks coming alive in October has been fun.
I'm glad to see this thread. Jets and Yanks fans are a limited group and when I meet others, it's an immediate bond. Been a fan of each team my whole life. I became a Jets fan as a kid b/c everyone was a Giants fan. My grandpa raised me on the Yanks. It's something I am installing in my son now. I am also a die-hard Nets fan but we all can't be perfect.
