Unfortunetly i dont see us getting unless someone else REALLY shits the bed. winning out seems a tall task with the pats and bills left and at 10-6 i dont see us getting in. we really need to beat the pats
i dont see that happening, rex has his flaws but everyone will run through a wall for that dude. its going to be a very tough game for us.
We beat Buff because...because ......we dont have Devin Smith We beat NE because,,,because...er a .....we borrow some players from Phil and Denver WE WIN CAUSE GOD IS ON OUR SIDE....(for once alreadyplease!!)
God hasn't been on our side for quite some time. If we win it will be against the best efforts of God.
No we beat Bflo because they are now toast & the same goes for the Boys. Heck by the time we get to the Pats that may have the #1 slot clinched so they will play all scrubs against us so we should easily be in
I think the best hope is to win out and for the Bronco's D to put a hurting on Big Ben and the Steelers. Otherwise, I dont see it happening. The way it looks we should at worst go 10-6 and miss the playoffs. What a bittersweet year after a 4-12 season.
Did we overachieve? 4-12 to 8-5 Yes wasnt expecting it Bowles sais not to get too up or too down bout things but he isnt waiting 46 years...if you gave him a beard I guess he would be Methusala in patience ..well not quite lol. He sees the long range but fans want that SB tomorrow Champ could be right by Bellicheater letting Garrapolo play us and Bills tanking ....hope so
something tells me Hoodie would put it all on the line before he allows the Jets to get into the playoffs that easily. and we already know Rex is going to be over dramatic again week 17 lol.
Good article. Thanks for posting it. The headline doesn't make sense, however. The Jets "perfection" won't backfire. Their "perfection" won't hurt them, nor does he say how their "perfection" will cause them to miss the playoffs. The truth, of course, is that it won't. I swear I sometimes think the writers and editors for the NY tabloids are a bunch of inbred, illiterate simpletons.
Cin should be able to beat SF even without Dalton so NE likely won't have the 1 seed clinched after this weekend. I think Tom Shady will play against the Jets. The Jets lose nearly every tie break scenario. Without winning out and getting a loss from Pitt or KC or 2 losses from Den they'll have completed a nice comeback season after 4-12 but no playoff birth.
The Ravens are banged up as badly as any team in football right now. I'm doubting Ryan Mallet beats the Steelers and he's a coin flip to be the guy on the field with Schaub now hurting and Flacco out for the season. It'd be nice though. I'm thinking Joe Haden might lock down Antonio Brown and give the Browns a chance in a rivalry game. Then it's up to Johnny Manziel to beat the Steelers for the first time in his career. Stranger things have happened.
pats could be 14-0 with #1 locked up and they STILL would go all out to beat us. our remaining 2 games will likely be our 2 touchest all year. against teams just itching to knock us out. it will be rex's superbowl and for the pats a cherry on top of the deflategate revenge tour. if we get to 11-5, it will be quite the impressive feat. i think it is 10 times more likely we lose both then win both
its tough to win every week jersey jay. if NE or BUF "tries harder" to knock us out then there is a problem with that organization's effort on a weekly basis. they should be itching to win every week. I think you are wrong about NE, its just another game for them in the effort to lock up homefield. The cherry on top they are looking for is another SB title, home field gets them closer to that goal, they could give a shit about the Jets. You might not be wrong about Rex & Buffalo though, we might be their "Super Bowl" but thats why Rex Ryan was fired and why they got steam rolled yesterday against a mediocre Washington team- they don't bring it every week. It will be tough to win those 2 games but it was tough to beat Andrew Luck in Indy on MNF.. it was tough to come back and beat the Giants down 10 in the 4th quarter, etc.... I think these Jets can do it. Whether they will or not is another story but if they lose it won't be because New England and Buffalo were "itching to knock us out". That's made for TV drama they use to get the casual football fan to watch the games
I think the Jets play a strong game against the Pats on Sunday and we're 10-5 going into the Bills game. I have no idea if one of the teams we're chasing is going to lose a game but it would be unlucky if they went 6-0 at this point.
