They will have to....especially if it is a game where the Jets need a win to get the wild card. Rex will be up for it. One turnover will make or break them - just wait and see.
com'on lets just focus on reality. The rules are the rules. This is the NFL, not some sand lot league That's like saying 'why don't the Jets play the Dolphins 4 times'?....it's meaningless
The 3-9 Titans were in town... I'd bet everything I own, Metlife is going to be rocking like it hasn't before next Sunday against the Patriots.
The Pats are damaged goods right now and the game is in our house. I expect that we'll beat them handily. Their injury report looks like the opening day roster minus Brady and a few guys.
The Cardinals went 10-6 and missed a couple of years ago and have been kicking butt since then, 22-7 over the next two seasons.
Cowboys in Dallas Saturday night. Pats in Metlife the following week. I think the Jets will win the Pats game and it will come down to the Bills playing for pride/Rex/pathos in Buffalo in week 17. Hopefully the Steelers lose to the Broncos or Browns (Steelers-Browns is like Jets-Fins) or the Chiefs lose to the Raiders to make it matter.
Steelers-Browns is not exactly like Jets-Fish. Browns routinely roll over and die for Pittsburgh. And they will do so again this year. They just don't have the talent to stop Pitt on D at all
Browns are 6-34 vs Pittsburgh since 1994. It's not a fair fight. It's the biggest lopsided rivalry in NFL history.
Crazy how if the Broncs some how let KC win the division we could have a tie breaker over them if we beat NE and BUF. But i think if Cinci lets Steelers get division lead then Cinci will get tie breaker over us regardless of a win out? The raiders may be our friend if they can pull another upset for us ! I hate playoff pictures it gets so stressful...
http://nypost.com/2015/12/14/ugly-truth-about-playoffs-jets-perfection-can-backfire/ Good article about our current situation....
Rex may be his usual apoplectic self, but I imagine there will be a number of Bills, disgusted with the season they have had, who will have already packed their bags for the flight home. Might see a flurry early, but then guys will worry about getting a needless injury.
Don't have time to look all this up, how do things look if Pitt and KC win the division and we tie with Cincy and Den for the wild card?
+100 the way I figure it is, hope i got it right: Talking heads fairly unanimous that Cinn circling the drain with AJ Mccarron This means Steelers grab AFC North if they continue to Win and Bengals hit the skids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is absolutely great news as there is a roughly 60% chance of it playing out this way IMO THAT DONE WE hold WC SPOT So Pitt win or losing is fine as long as Bungles continue with a loss. Ravens and Browns have an even chance to beat Cinn as opposed to being complete underdogs This is almost like a fail safe contingency if KC doesn't lose 2 , Pitt not losin 2 or one loss from each
