Okay so they were ranked 1, 9 and 9 by PFF. What's your point? You don't think or OLINE is top 10 in the league this year? Our offense this year is better than there's was during that 3 year period. The skill position players we currently have SHIT all over what they strolled out there. Let's also add in harbough was their coach. He understands the game better than most people on this planet. We have better weapons and better offensive minds than what San Fran currently has. The only difference between this team and those teams is the QB play. Kaepernick has shown he can BALL when given the weapons and OLINE to play with. He's playing with dogshit in SF and he coaching staff is fucking idiotic. Edit - I don't even truely understands what the fuck you are even arguing me with over. When they were ranked number 1 OLINE he was terrific. Then they added Boldin and he excelled even more...our OLINE is on par with those of San Fran. Ivory is just as good as gore and Marshall and decker are better than Boldin and Crabtree.
Appears the window is now shut. I don't think we had the financial room for them anyway. It's FitzMAGIC time or It's Eugene time or It's B. Petty time J E T S JETS JETS JETS!
I was really hoping they would get Rodgers, although only getting 77 yards against Denver probalby means he's not elite anymore. Most I would have given was Smith in an even trade. Maybe he would do well in Green Bay.
No one makes any moves before the trade deadline, what was there one trade? The cap hit to the teams is usually impossible to absorb mid-season. Looks like Ryan Mallet or Matt Flynn will be signed, both dumpster fires.
If they sign Mallet, the billboards will be back up by morning. At least Flynn has enough familiarity with the system to be a backup
It's good there was no panic trade. That means the team is comfortable with where it is and views the off-season as the key point to reassess things. Moves made in panic mode are almost always bad.
And apparently he can't play well for him though. ESPN's QBR had Brady (356 yards, 68.4 %, 4 TD, 0 INT's) below Rodgers (77 yards, 63.6%, 0 TD, o INT) this past weekend.
