I don't expect either of them to get away. They will probably franchise tag Julius, get Demaryius locked up long term, and then go back to Julius and get him taken care of. They aren't as tight on the cap for the 2015 offseason.

$6 million for a potential big time playmaker is fine, and they can renegotiate the remaining money if they need to. At maximum production, he is worth everything his contract will pay him.

 

I was at work when I heard this and someone said we gave up a 1st and 3rd and I went crazy. A mid rounder isn't bad, but he's got a bloated contract and has a thigh injury. He was probably being a diva in Seattle and they had enough

 

Who knows what the asking price was a couple of weeks ago or so. Plus, they may not have wanted to trade him until just very recently.

Half agreed. Yeah this would be a lot more exciting if we werent 1-6...but chances are Harvin wasnt available before the season started

 

He hasn't show maximum potential since 2011. 23 games played in 6, is on the injury report again , and played only 20 snaps against Dallas. Hopefully the guy is healthy, can improve special teams, help Geno, and not be a distraction. Don't want to see them forcing 15 balls his way just because.

I am done bellyaching, though...for better or worse, Percy Harvin is a Jet and I'll support him as long as he keeps his nose clean.

A $6 million rental on a 1-6 team doesn't make sense. So they are planning to renegotiate his contract. How low will they get him down? What is he really worth based on his last two years? Incentive contract is the best option based on playing time and performance. What are the odds he goes for that?

 

So.....can Harvin play CB?
