Just because a team is interested, doesnt mean it matters. Its about money.

There is some madness about the Saint's shopping Brees! I don't believe it and can't find a source for it, but that would fix the QB situation. Just have to forget about Mevi$.

Even it his age, I would give a 2nd and a 3rd next for Brees. Him, Marshall, Decker, Kerley and Amaro for a few years would be very, very entertaining..

I'd give up the first. The draft is no sure thing. We're also bringing in parts that may not be around by the time a young quarterback develops. Brees makes the Jets a playoff team the day he walks in the door. 3-4 years of that is well worth the opportunity cost of the sixth pick.

as much as I hate this, you're probably right. The CB market seems to have grinded to a halt waiting for a resolution to the Revis situation, but how long can it stay that way? As of now waiting is fine by me because we're not missing out any secondary players. But if I start hearing that Cro is lining up to sign with Dallas or Culliver is about to sign, we have to back off of Revis

Getting Revis would be a step in the right direction but so far I find our early efforts in free agency to be somewhat disappointing.

We attempted to fill holes by keeping Harris and adding a CB & OG but it seems like we paid for more than we got in return on each of those contracts. Hopefully our coaches see some upside on these guys that I am not seeing.

Love the Marshall trade but not sure he counts as a free agent.

i would give the sixth pic for Brees in a heart beat. It would change everything about where this team was headed over night

No you're not alone in that thought. Chip is making a play for the number 2 pick so he can get MM, he is not betting on our sixth pick.

I don't know man. Brees was rough last year. Threw a lot of bone headed picks. I gotta think that if NO is shopping him around at all they know something that other teams don't

    He is 36 years old.

If we give up the sixth overall pick I would like to get pick 13 back from the Saints.

I'm shocked the jets haven't taken interest in weinewski. His market has been frozen.

Ideally yes but the saints won't give up that much to move up 7 spots. For Brees Wed need to send a decent player and a lesser round.

I'm kinda surprised we didn't offer harvin and our first for graham. That I would have done in a heartbeat.
