Run the goddamn ball! If we had run the ball for the entire first half, we would have won the game and the drops wouldn't have mattered. The team was playing the game as if we were down by 20 all game. They made bad mistakes due to some sense of urgency and the nonexistence of calmness. Cotch should have made those catches, Holmes, SG as well. Sanchez should have hit a wide open Braylon on his way for 6 points. Run the fucking ball more. I wanted to murder yesterday...
Sure. Mevi$ is gay, and you post this? Sure is accurate though. He looked like Anthony Becht out there.
I was going @pe$#!T at home for the lack of Hunter and Turner...we should have been man handling them in the first half.
When he starts referring to him as droppery in every post he can possibly figure out a way to bring the guy up in and blames him for every bad thing that happens to the Jets you might have a point.
You know Holmes dropped a bigger pass, right? he had nothing but open field if he makes that 3rd down catch and likely scores a TD. Cotch has great hands, he had a terrible game yesterday.
Exactly. He has been money his whole time with this team. The Cotchery bashing is uncalled for. Poor timing to have a bad game but no need to ride J-Co. Agreed. Did anyone notice how good the pass protection was ? I remember a few times during the game where Sanchez was in the pocket for 7 to 10 seconds. Our receivers were blanketed. Sanchez' only misfire was on Edwards being open in the middle and Mark didn't see him. And two of the three "rip out turnovers" was BS. I have seen that happen to the Colts on more than one occasion and its always down my contact. Such bullshit.
For how good the pass protection was, Sanchez looked very spazzy in the pocket yesterday. The Packers must have had our receivers completely locked down. Maybe they dropped so many balls because they were so surprised to get open!
I agree with those who say that Cotch had a bad day, and normally does not. But imo it's not like he's been solid otherwise. He's been decent. Second in catches, but worst yards per catch of the wideouts. Edwards has been the best wideout by a good margin, and that catch he made on the sideline, reaching down for the ball, was perhaps the best play by the Jets all day. Holmes dropped some balls, too, which along with still learning the O may mean Cotch will start again next game, but I wish he'd play closer to Edwards's level.
MB would have to get a hell of a lot more annoying for your point to be proven correct even under those conditions.
you're the 92nd post in this thread....and you're asking what's to discuss? LOL *throws you a rubix cube*
holmes dropped the biggest pass of the game. had so much seperation between a corner, and NObody was playing deep. 30+ yard TD.
You are aware Revis cost us that game yesterday. 1st series, 3rd and 6 GB 27. Revis tips the INT right out of Pool's hands. Pool makes that grab, we get at least 3, and Field position is different for the entire first half. F*** /sarcasm.
I take exception with anyone who says Cotch hasn't been bad all year, because he has. This is by far the worst season of his career..dropped passes galore and just not as many positive plays. This is from a HUGE Cotch fan, and I do think he'll turn it around. Maybe he's feeling the heat from Braylon and Santonio...
yeah Cotchery sucked yesterday, but, then again, pretty much everyone sucked catching the ball in general, seems like everyone dropeed a key pass at one time or another, running backs included
