Let Robby walk trade away Jamal GM for a team that nearly went winless Trade away Sam He better hit on these draft picks Cause yeah he's on the clock
Never said anything about STARTERS esp when compared to a back up QB & a project DL. Im talking just addding WR PROSPECTS to what was a deplorable unit. And you can label me any way you like. I stand by my disgust for what JD is doing.
Gabriel Davis WR out of UCF - who some on here talked about before the draft as a potential sleeper - was chosen by the Bills like 4 picks after Morgan. He finished the season with 600 yards and 7 TDs. Wouldnt mind having him going forward.
Robbie has been the 1 big mistake so far, trading away Jamal was totally the right thing to do. He is known as a scout so I agree, the draft is where Douglas will be judged in the end
Wilson will be folded up. Will he be requiring a step stool to see over the big lineman? Trask threw for over 4000 yards almost a thousand more than Wilson and in a better more competitive conference. Also 43 TD to Wilson 3. 3 inches taller also. But Joe "The Miracle Worker" Douglas will fix it all.
Dude, you are all over the place with your opinions, but sadly, most of them are totally off the wall, just like this one.
1 As much as I was gutted to see Robby leave, what was the point of signing him? Gase hated him and wouldn't use him correctly or even trust him 2 Gase Gase Gase Gase Gase 3 You see this as a negative lol 4 Let's hope so but this a long term solution for something we have not been good at for 3 GM's or so, a lot of spots to fill. GM's are always on the clock but JD is certainly not on the clock in your definition of it, the axe is a long long way from falling on JD's neck.
Can I remind you of GASE going forward, take a look at the one good WR prospect we drafted and then how many times GASE had him targetted, you think GASE would have been all over a 4th round selection lol GASE has fucked this franchise solidly for two years, I am sure we will see immediate improvement.
The 5ft 8" Monster Year Team YDS TD INT 2020 Cardinals 3,971 26 12 2019 Cardinals 3,722 20 12 Career 7,693 46 24 You're moaning at the height of a 6ft 2 QB like he is a dwarf and then bringing Trask into the conversation lol there is a thread with all the QB's names listed on it, 80+ pages and it has nearly as many mentions of Trask in it as this thread now, that is how well thought of Trask is on this site.
Trading away your best player puts the onus on you as the GM. Whether it was the right thing is kinda irrelevant. If the team still sucks two years later he'll be the one who deserves the blame. But at the end of the day I guess that's part of the job anyway
Your point being? My point was obvious but I will lay it out for you again, at 5ft 8" that QB has 7500 yards and 46 TD's to 24 INT's, on an above-average team, so a guy that is 6ft 2" is not going to need a stepping stool to see the field over his OL, it isn't like the OL he has just been behind are dwarven. Is this easier for you to understand?
This Sam trade/ drafting a rookie was not universally approved of, and many fans and media were on the side of keeping Sam and trading down at 2 for a haul to improve the team. If Wilson doesn’t work out because he’s not any good, or JD can’t put the correct team around him, or any combo of the 2, then he will be gone and rightfully so. If Darnold turns out to be a quality starter or better it will not look good at all for JD unless the rookie plays just as well
My feelings to a T. I do believe however Anderson would have helped Sam tremendously but Gase didn't see his value. Number 3 - Sam was destroyed by Gase, as was the rest of the team. A change will do him good and we start fresh
