    ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

    * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

    * WHERE...A portion of northeast Florida, including the following
    county, St. Johns.

    * WHEN...Until 330 PM EDT.

    * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

    * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
    - At 128 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of
    rain have fallen.
    - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
    - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Crescent Beach.

    unfortunately looks like it's gonna move NE....

    Here it just doesnt stop... tropical rainforest downpour ALL day and night yesterday and now :

    Johns and South Central Duval.

    * WHEN...Through late tonight.

    * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
    creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
    Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

    * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
    - Saturated soils along the Northeast Florida coastal areas
    will be prone to flash flooding through tonight as rain bands
    from the Atlantic push onshore and stall at times. Rainfall
    totals of 2 to 4 inches with locally higher amounts will be
    possible.

    Not surprised, that's what happens about 90% of the time they say we'll get hit. Usually it's Houston and Louisiana.

    However, it's been in the mid-60s in the morning the past 2 days here so I'm not sure what the fuck. 60s is usually an October thing.

    We’ve been abnormally cool since mid August. Gonna be 59 here tonight.

    Aside from a Tropical storm / hurricane this may be the longest run of heavy rain I remember....:confused:

    May get a 2 day break from rain this week.... my yard is a tadpole farm
